I’m an RN with extensive experience working with psychiatric and geriatric populations. The last six years I have been working as a personal care assistant with students on the autism spectrum in a near by School District. As I approach retirement, I am increasingly interested in making myself available as a hospice care volunteer in private homes, elder care facilities and hospitals.

I am a retired psychiatric social worker from upstate New York. I work with children & families. I enjoyed the speaker series & looking forward to more of them. I would like to hear from more multicultural perspectives & how ro get us through this very stressful time in our country i.e. the coronavirus, racism, domestic violence, child abuse & addiction. Working in the fields I just mentioned causes me to be overwhelmed by physical , emotional and social abuse. Are there speakers that can help us with these issues in a mindful way? Thanks for the presentations. It gives me hope.
