What an interesting and engaging presentation.
A wealth of ideas and practical pointers combined with some simple and easy Mindfulness exercises – a style which was genuinely refreshing. Hani exemplifies what he advocates, but often when working with others who present with ‘burnout’, I find they have tried several approaches – including some Hani advocates here, but they feel these have failed. It is this sense of failure that often seems to become the catalyst for the burnout/breakdown and absences from work. I would love to have heard more about the times Hani tried one of the approaches he uses and it didn’t work straight-away… was it purely perseverance, or was his inner resilience the result of longer-term practice?
I could definitely have done with a Q&A session after this.
