Vania Rudolf, MD is an addiction medicine specialist with additional training in family medicine, integrative medicine and high risk obstetrics. She leads the addiction recovery services at Swedish Medical Center where she gets to enjoy practicing mindfulness and self-compassion with colleagues and patients. She is passionate about wellness and meaningful ways to cultivate kindness, connection and self care while decreasing burnout. She endeavors to practice compassionate, healing care to patients, enthusiastically trying to eliminate stigma, socio-economic disparities and social marginalization. Her clinical work has strong focus on improving and developing frameworks both locally and nationally to eliminate stigma, promote compassion, and contribute to public health efforts to improve wellness and outcomes for colleagues, patients and families.
